“So that our games can be widely enjoyed by anyone regardless of experience, gender, or age, we want to be able to participate in a wide range of different events. “
So...why? This explains absolutely nothing, as it doesn’t even remotely begin to cover why they think having prize money makes this untenable.

This reminds me - how does one pushback on this? As in, what’s the way to say “I hear your argument, and I appreciate you care, but I don’t, and I don’t feel that you are right or need to be listened to”? I know, I know, that sounds harsh, but it has increasingly seemed like it’s gotten to the point where the greater

Really? Huh - that link is in English for me without needing to force a translate, and it says “capital investment”. Still, the tweet is much more helpful.

I cannot imagine this could work for a multinational financial services firm unless everyone everywhere somehow also adopted the same hours. But in that case, why stop at 4?

Before it get’s too crazy, I’ve heard it’s more like a debt product than an equity purchase, which, even if it was one, that means nothing without further information. It could be 5%, 10%, 51%, 70% (although we’d’ve heard if it was a control purchase), and unless it’s control it would only be further guesswork to

The term isn’t actually used in the release. I hear it’s more like a debt product than an equity one.

This assumes they bought 40% of Platinum and that people who boycott EGS do so because of Tencent involvement. Sounds like a series of guesses to me.

Realism went out the window instantly with Ad Astra, when it was decided that for some reason Brad Pitt should go to Mars and not, you know, a USB with an audio file.

Disney is in no way a borderline monopoly.

Huh. No idea. As far as I know, it was just a normal thing, at a normal chain theatre. The theatre *was* in a Japantown though; maybe that was it.

It’s [sadly] not ever going to be a full fledged title screen, but the splash for Goddamn Superhero was awesome and the best one I’ve seen all year.

I genuinely don’t understand why it’s considered a 2019 movie. It came out in 2017. In Japan, yes, but I saw it in a mainstream theatre in the US in 2018. Did it have an expansion or something...?

On release, yes, it was miserable. It then became their last good game when they gave it [multiple] patches. It is absolutely better than anything they’ve made since.

Dice hasn’t made a good game since Battlefield 4 in 2013. Everything else has been hugely dumbed down and with tons of QoL stuff removed.

Yeah, it was really not at all what I had expected from the synopsis I had read going in. I thought it was going to be, like, more of a documentary on bullying...

Oh wow, someone else in the English speaking internet who saw Better Days? They do exist!

I remember waiting for a deal on, *and* using my birthday for, a 4GB card for my PSP when it was still fairly new. A steal at only $80!

3 more of those and before you know it they’ll be asking us all “What’s Up”.

Having this notion that a Fox News viewer will have their mind changed about anything just goes to show a lack of understanding of the Fox News viewer. I get my fair share of exposure to the hard core conservative types on Facebook, and let me tell you, these “people” are *completely* gone. This is nothing but

Your confusion about “what these things would taste like melded together on the palate”, as if that’s how these things are consumed, just works to reveal your lack of understanding of the cheese board.
