Alright, well, I was talking about enjoyment, but I’m glad you found it especially grounded.

Year after year, Apple manages to astound by missing the most obvious feature possible - controlling the volume by sliding a finger up or down a side.

I’m glad you enjoyed it. I didn’t.

I was with you the first few sentences, but a “I’ll get back to you” is a bad response for the format.

Wait, is “some of you don’t like it when we call women ‘females’, ha!” supposed to be some sort of gotcha...?

Too bad it had multiple interpretations and is dependent on the context. It can be “highly skilled”, which, in the music industry - one where people are reluctant to assign their own personal interpretations of quality to someone and where far more objective metrics for sales exist by which these things can be

No, not especially. Being of the opinion that certain writing, audio, or visual aspects weren’t great isn’t particularly over the top at all.

Considering I hold the first 5 seasons up as some of the best TV I’ve ever seen, I’m gunna say no to that hypothesis.

I appreciate what it was trying to do, and I suppose what it did, but I found the mirror splitting and repetitive sounds to be *incredibly* grating here. Similarly, the wordplay, while demonstrative of deteriorating mental state over the arc of the episode, just seemed a little too much on a moment to moment basis.

Sad but true.

The Emmys are particularly bad at recognizing anything but the most rote animation; see: decades of Venture Bros. snubs.

I’ll cross that Rubicon. Friends blows and I instantly distrust the humor and sensibilities of anyone who claims to like it.

“Blah blah blah I don’t understand the context of this word in this article”

I’d much sooner put “accomplished” in the sphere of “having success” than I would “having talent”, because I’m not so self absorbed as to think that my tastes as it pertains to talent is a good metric by which to judge “being accomplished” in an industry for which “success” and “being accomplished” are very closely

“Successful” is not necessarily the same as “talented” and it’s baffling - and frankly stupid - to confuse the two.

So basically “amazingmao’s taste says so”.

So long as they also fall in line even if it’s not Bernie then I don’t care.

How are you defining “success” wherein “a couple hundred thousand modern musicians” are more successful than Lady Gaga?

Luckily, as a native Italian, I can point out that the US also butchers it’s fair share of dishes from the place. And now that I live in California, don’t even get me started on the pizza...
