I think the quoted peak torque is at 1300 or 1500 rpm. That means the turbo is fully spooled up and at peak boost at that rpm. What rpm does the NA moter get peak torque? 4000 rpm?

An ICE motor is simply an air pump; the more air moved through the engine equals more power. You can get strong V6 power out of a 4…

I concur. My wife and I traded in our 2012 GTI with the DSG for a 2018 Tiguan with the 8 spd auto. It is a much smoother and less jerky driveline. In stop and go traffic, the torque converter auto is so much better.

Europe has higher octane gasoline, somewhere in the 98 ron rating. You're insane. Netflix has the best content out of any of the paid content providers. You're smoking some bad stuff if you think Netflix is going to suffer because your panties are bunched up. 

The catch is, you are going to drop $4-5k (or more) on the TT almost immediately just to get it in proper working condition. The AWD system is notorious for failing at around the 10-15 year mark and if you do all the wrenching yourself, you are still looking at thousands of dollars in parts.
