I know that the 60" LED TV at Best Buy is mine. I wonder if the same tactics will work...

@HeartBurnKid: Agent of R.O.A.C.H.: The Boxee Box has dropped. Unless you mean when Netflix for Boxee drops, which they keep insisting will happen before the new year. Not holding my breath for that one...

@gijenny01: If your 60-year-old uncle purchased an iPhone 3G he'd be here with no digital compass, no multitasking, etc. If he purchased a random HTC with Windows Mobile 6 he'd has no shot of upgrading to Windows Phone 7. Tons of Blackberry's can't upgrade to BBOS 6.0. Where are all the Gizmodo articles about

@Netscott: I totally agree. While this PC case looks a bit less elegant than the pot, it's still a very cool aesthetic.

@iRant: Except that's exactly my point. In order for Google to "bless" a hardware device (and get access to the Market) it must conform to a series of guidelines that they have laid out. This includes things such as standard buttons and hardware.

Fragmentation? I don't see every PC on the planet running Crysis at full resolution and framerate. I guess Windows must be to blame!

I have a weak spot for Supras. Love the MKIV. Owned a beautiful MKIII. Always wanted to build up a MKII.

@kyasanti: Hahaha yeah I know. Until they make a car head unit that can interface with my Android phone better than my old iPhonePod I'm stuck using it. I actually prefer having it on a separate partition (even though it's a pain to double boot) because then it's isolated from everything else.

iTunes for linux. One less reason to keep the Windows partition around.

@ctsamurai: That's also a good point. Aside from corporate email accounts, I do know a lot of people who "must" change email addresses every few years due to switching of their ISP. Since a lot of them use Facebook already, I could see them utilizing this as a way to never to have to change it. This is definitely a

Today is just another day.

@CnEY: It was indeed. I probably should have capitalized or italicized it to make it seem more intentional.

Users of the site who haven't succumb to Stockholm Syndrome know that the service and the company behind it plays fast and loose with your data. Privacy does not come first or even second on the checklist of implementing new features and functionality.

@danielblakes: Thank you! It's my life long goal to inform people about everything Android so they can make educated decisions. That and to correct people who say Droid when referring to Android. Damn Verizon and their excellent advertising campaign.

@Ghostly: That's a good point. I have no real exposure to Sense-based phones and didn't know custom ROMs had been based off of it. As much as I dislike the Sense UI, I'm glad the choice exists. I know a lot of eFriends that swear by it.

@o0RaidR0o: There are a variety of desktop and Android applications which are one-click solutions. Personally, I have only dealt with the Nexus One, Droid, and Galaxy S-based phones. Off the top of my head I can think of unrevoked, Universal 1-click, and SuperOneClick. I'm not sure if any of those support that

My Facebook account consists of my 40 friends, 30 of whom are "limited profile". The visibility of near everything is restricted to friends (not limited) or myself only. If this does indeed happen and the integration is too deep it will likely be the final straw and I will be forced to lock everything down. I would
