I think it was Frank's idea to leave the studio chatter in. It really does help to get the fundamental silliness across — like Frank talking to the guys over the phone at the end of "The Blimp" or Don muttering "Shit, I don't know how I'm gonna fit that in" on "She's Too Much For My Mirror".

"Unless you count all the times he SOLD DOPE WHILE DISGUISED AS A NUN." I don't know what it is about that line, but the first time I watched this movie I had to rewind because I was laughing too hard to catch everything after it.

OW! Those things awe bad fow you.

Is that the one where him and Bubs drunk-dial Marzipan and he starts crying over the phone? I died laughing at that — mainly because I couldn't believe they got away with that joke.

I hate that fwigging mawshmellow,

"Li'l Brudder… I… I DON'T KNOW WHAT I'M DOING WITH MY LIFE!"

It's all right. The parents, despite being idiots and assholes, were also shrewd enough to turn the comments off.
