My experience is that a FAX is the next best thing. Email is to easy and to susceptible to organized campaigns by partisans. If you can’t call, a fax sent from inside the legislative district shows more effort equally more likely genuine concern.  

19 seconds? I’m tired. I’ve walked my butt off all day sightseeing or sitting in a meeting without end. I just want to get in my room and relax in sweet silence.
