It would. Unfortunatetly emissions regulations have pretty much made it impossible to sell a rotary in the US. Especially a turbo rotary. The heat that a turbo saps from the exhaust makes it very difficult to keep a catalytic converter at operating temperature.

I can’t even imagine how amazing that must have been to see(terrifying experience for the pilots aside), What a bunch of lucky cadets.

Not trolling, there are numerous videos of 1.0 fiesta rally cars from the England forest rally, one of which was white.

Anyone know if this is one of the newer 1.0 Ecoboost Fiesta’s? If so, i am seriously impressed with the exhaust note. Proper rally car noises.

Still an absolutely beautiful car. What a shame they won’t make it.

Its all fun and games until someones head comes off.

They can say what ever they want, they just have to worry about the consequences of what they say. That isn’t right. If they feel something about how they go about racing, in other words their job, is unsafe they should be able to voice that without worrying about consequences.

That’s not true. It’s worded in such a way that they essentially can’t say anything negative about Indycar.

THANK YOU! I can’t count how many times I have countered peoples anti-aluminum arguments with the sentence, “How often do builders/construction guys/landscapers actually fix dents in their steel trucks?”

Keep in mind this means that if they feel the number of cars on the grid is unsafe, they can't say shit.

God dammit dude. I consider myself a liberal and even I think you sound like a complete moron. You do know that conquering armies tend to, you know, roll through cities they have conquered? At that kind of range, what good is a long range missile? Very little. On the other hand, a weapon like this, perched on high

Honestly I think this is a very very good idea. My only issue, and I know this doesn't apply to most people outside the jalop circle, is that it gives me one less excuse to drive. That said, it frees up time to go for a drive on roads that are actually enjoyable and (hopefully) not full of idiots.

Look at those fucking hips. God. Damn.

The people who use to live next to me had a 1970 Cutlass Supreme exactly like this one. To this day I think it's one of the best combinations of wheels, car, and color ever conceived.

No matter how many times you read about a young guy or girl dying in some form of motorsports, it never hits you in the gut any less hard when you read about it happening again.

God those old Cutlasses are so damn good looking.

Agreed. That ultimately is what is going to allow autonomous cars to reach their fullest potential.

This is kind of what I figured. I wouldn’t expect any company, especially Google, to attempt something like autonomous cars unless they were pretty damn sure they would work pretty flawlessly.

Yep. What would be happening is that the voltage is the same but the thinner wires allow for less amperage which causes more resistance and heat, and eventually a fire.

It’s really sad how profoundly fucked up our labor laws and our laws in general are in this country.
