Because it was a $500 beater I bought for the sole purpose of driving while I put a torque converter seal in my t bird. It had lived it’s entire life right on the coast and was rusty. I sold the motor and the diff to a buddy of mine and then scrapped the rest and ended up making $200 profit.
Yes, I owned a 2003 P71 for a year and a half.
Pretty much what I was thinking, an incredibly comfortable sleeper that people will look at funny until you do a big smokey burnout and then pop the hood.
It had a lot of fab work because there is a price cap in lemons. It blew up because it was a $200 junk yard motor that they ran too lean. Neither of those things say anything about Panthers as a whole.
Except you are wrong. The chassis may not be rigid by modern standards, but performance parts (cams, gears, stiffer bushings, fatter anti-roll bars, stiffer springs) are not expensive. Go google the last ride of turbo taxi if you don't believe me.
Most likely a mustang 5.0 since the 5 speed came from a mustang. Putting an entire mustang drivetrain in a panther is incredibly easy.
Because it makes it more fun? Because it’s incredibly easy? Because a panther can be a pretty decent performer and a serious sleeper with a surprisingly small amount of money?
I hit NP so hard I thought my phone was going to break. I may be a little biased because I have dreams of a 4.6 DOHC and manual swapped crown town car, but there is something seriously cool about a manual fullsize sedan.
Honestly as long as it’s quiet and it comes on boost without being noticeable I see no reason a turbo 4 or even a regular 4 cylinder wouldn’t be a fine enfine for a rolls.
Except you can prove that isn’t true. And if you are so small minded that you can’t look past the lack of two cylinders and see that it is essentially the engine from an endurance race car I feel bad for you. There is absolutely NO way the 2000’s era GT40 is better than the new GT. That car is slower than a the new…
That is a factually incorrect statement
Well now I know what I’m going to do if I ever get an SUV lol
I don’t think its fair to say that Kansas shut down uber. Kansas wasn’t making unreasonable demands by any means.
No, putting riders first as in we want them to do the very MINIMUM in making sure the people driving for uber aren’t rapists or people with a history of violent crime. Blaming uber for drunk driving is like blaming a car manufacturer for a death that is the result of reckless driving in a vehicle made by that…
You can buy two rear shocks for a cavalier for like $35.
I can never get over how good the V8 in that era 5 series sounds.
I can sympathize with you SO much. In the fall I’ll be getting a substantial increase in my income and with that I'll be replacing my rapidly aging Taurus SHO. I've gone back and fourth between the MS6, MS3, Legacy GT, an older mustang Mach 1, a WRX, an RX8 and a crown Vic to swap a 5 speed into. And I still haven't…
Not to mention it most likely isn't a real viggen. No Viggen seats, no Viggen wheels, no Viggen bodykit.
I don’t know too much about saabs but I was about to say that the seats look exactly the same as the heated buckets in my dads 2001 9-3 se. If I were even half serious about looking at this car id do a VIN check because it's probably not what it claims to be
