I doubt they will do anything. Iran may not be the most benign country in the world but they know very well what would happen to them if rhey attacked a US Navy ship.

Thank you, this reply answers my earlier question: “Are you insane?”, the answer being a resounding yes.
Stop vomiting the bullshit Fox News spews. The man who gave the order to take out Osama, one of the most influential terrorists of the 21rst century, wouldn’t hesitate to retaliate if Iran attacked a U.S. Navy ship.
Are you insane? Do you honestly believe Iran could sink a US carrier and Obama would not allow military retaliation?
That doesn’t change the fact that claiming it “isn’t a real world performance car” is complete bullshit.
This is hands down, the biggest collection of ignorant garbage in the comments section. The 2005 ford GT was NOT a very serious performance car and if you honestly believe that the new GT isn't a serious performance car you clearly don't understand the technology it has.
The difference in aero, weight, power delivery(manual vs dual clutch), power band, suspension tech and brake tech pretty much ensures that the new car will be significantly faster than the old car.
The Ford GT was not originally a drag car and it shouldn’t really be a drag car. This car will without a doubt be a better race car in every way if you compare it stock to the old car stock and it would take massive amounts of $$$ to make a previous gen ford GT out handle the new one.
You havent heard about the markups some dealers have put on 4C’s, a guy my dad knows spent just shy of $100k on a 4C. My dad loves alfas, he’s owned 4 and even he thinks the base asking price for the 4C is insane.
Why didn't you include the 918? I would certainly say it is a notable V8 Porsche.
The way I look at this is, a diesel Mercedes, of an FD RX-7, an MS6 and a crown Vic with money left over to cobra swap the vic...
Okay ford, now you have yet another reason to give us a Fusion ST/RS and a taurus SHO that’s worth a shit for something other than drag racing. Make. It. Happen.
Except that it’s a completely different engine architecture and as a result it needs to be treated differently. Rotaries can be revved right to the red line all day long and they won’t care if they get over revved. Reciprocating piston engines are sensitive to being over-revved but you wouldn’t call a piston engine…
Rotarys are only bad when people who don't understand them try and treat them like a regular engine. Emissions regulations more than anything killed rhe rotary, it's hard for a gas powered car to pass an emissions test if it burns a bunch of oil and one of the best ways to make rotaries last as long as regular engines…
Agreed.
I think the home battery is more for people who have solar panels on their houses. It makes more sense to store as much energy as possible rather than get a bit knocked off your electric bill as compensation for what your solar panels put back into the grid. The other thing to consider is that in some red states(like…
OH MY GOD THANK YOU, I've been thinking this ever since I saw that episode.
While he is passionate about cars, I’m sure that he is at the same time thinking about all the people he employs. Instead of risking all of tesla’s accomplishments and the jobs of all of the people he employs, he got an incredibly good deal from Google. If there was no passion for cars in him, he would have worried…
Agreed. The guy also used a lotus to make his first real car. I’m not saying it was a perfect car but the lotus was not the easiest option so it was atleast somewhat about making an electric sports car because he could.
C’mon Mclaren hot hatch, that is all.
