This is something that President Obama has proposed at least twice in the past and has gained little to no traction. And the chances of it flying this time around, particularly given the Republican control of both Houses and the point-of-sale proposal, seems even more absurd.

Every time I'm near a raptor I'm always astonished at just how wide and tall the factory tires are.

Any time I see a first generation Range Rover I can't help but see one of these.

This story reminds me of a time my dad took his 69 Alfa Romeo to a BMW dealership to have a rear main seal done and they tried to get him to buy replacement carburetors to the tune of an additional $800. Somehow they "failed to notice" that the engine in the car was a 2.0 and had Alfa's mechanical fuel injection...

Quite possibly the best thing that has ever been recorded by someone holding their smart phone the wrong way! In all seriousness this is just pure undiluted awesome.

This is SUCH a good angle to look at this car from.

The Opel Corsa OPC (which stands for, I believe, 'Oh, Pretty Cool') and its clone, the Vauxhall Corsa VXR, are Opel's new, very blue hot hatches. They're expected to have a 210 HP 1.6L turbo, and running those equines to the front wheels via a six-speed manual. It'll likely get to 60 in less than seven seconds! That

I'm done arguing with someone who looks at facts and says "Yeah, I see all your hard scientific data but I disagree because I want too." Please try and realize that you do not in fact know everything. I actually personally know someone who lost there house and was nearly killed in Northern Michigan as a result of

Why? that's such a pointless styling element and it bet it causes one hell of a blind spot.

OMG THANK YOU! I thought I was alone in thinking that its a giant middle finger to us calling this a four door sports car after canceling that one.

100% CP, why would anyone buy a miata that has had all of its identity stolen in an (HORRIBLY failed) effort to make it italian.

Okay so here is the problem. If the roads are all privately owned we run into the same problems we have now with Comcast. They will have a monopoly. Comcast damn well knows that they have the majority of broadband customers and as a result they provide AWFUL service because they know generally there is no alternative.

It makes them less likely to take risks with huge amounts of money because the rewards are smaller. Also I disagree, our interstate system was phenomenal without being privately owned, there is no reason that can't be the case again.

The reason why their should be a tax on capital gains is partly to discourage irresponsible gambling, like the kind that was partly to blame for the recession. Also no one is saying that we should develop buses routes for traveling between every single town but it would be nice if our highways weren't embarrassing.

Oh, when I said "people" I was referring to the small portion of the population that just doesn't care for what ever reason and politicians. Its despicable that our infrastructure has gone from the envy of the world to a structurally deficient mess because of politicians lying.

Why would you want to get rid of the capital gains tax? They are under-taxed already. There is absolutely no reason why someone who does hard labor for a living should have their income taxed more than capital gains.

Well it would be quite easy to pay for it if we fixed the tax code so that the wealthiest individuals and corporations aren't allowed to avoid taxes by exploiting loopholes only they can realistically use.

LOL! Honestly the most frustrating part is that it seems like a disproportionate amount of the people who feel that way are the ones who would be put to work by investment in our infrastructure.

I've never understood why people are opposed to spending money on our infrastructure. Especially considering the number of people it will put to work and how many people it will benefit.

I think this is a fantastic idea assuming that they develop some very very serious security measures so that this can not be hacked. It can be done too, they should develop an alpha system working closely with network/computer security experts, then throw it on the internet and challenge people to try and hack into it
