I really want to play Night in the Woods at some point, and I should probably do it soon just so I don't get spoiled. Scott Benson's been a really neat guy to follow on Twitter, and the Pittsburgh influence of the game makes me feel at home. (He's noted that it's supposed to be Anytown Appalachia, but that he also

If I may, I believe this man would find that he is no true Digimon fan. He may appreciate the show on a nostalgic level, but he has clearly learned nothing from the Crests that are gathered by the original Digidestined. In fact, his attitude, one where he attempts to appear mature, as if those who call for political

Yes. Hair color is actually really vast now, basically a wide palette. You can have green, blue, red, etc. hair. Kind of sad that it took this long for proper red representation, though…

3DS's Activity Log was so good. I loved that it even ranked the games on different categories (how many times you booted it up, average play session length, etc.). Wii U's was nifty too. I didn't actually realize that it was out.

I believe a Switch is something that you swat someone on the back side with, and the phrase is a warning. Nintendo Switch you. Etymologically descended from "I intend to switch you."

You mentioned the kickstand's flimsiness, but how about the console itself? With the Wii U, I felt like I could actually toss the controller around a bit; I wasn't worried if it fell on the floor. But with my phone, I get nervous just carrying heavy things while it's in my pocket. How at risk does the Switch seem for

You really have to wonder with old box art how much the designer was actually in contact with the studio. Especially given the fledgling industry, it wouldn't be surprising to me if the artists were often just told a concept and never got to actually play the game. There's also something to be said for how different

Victim blame. "They brought it on themselves." Lord, I just got sick in my mouth because that actually sounds like something he could say.

They're begging for it so much that, if it happens, there will be more conspiracy theories than there were about 9/11.

There are times where maybe putting more people on is good (since it speeds up with more people and it might be the best fighting point), but even if the entire enemy team is wiped, someone should be going ahead to ink turf. Gives a better playing field for your team, holds them back a bit, and it builds special which

My replay of the original Twilight Princess and my HD playthrough both saw me blitzing though the escort mission…but it was only because my first playthrough had me struggling with it for at least half an hour. How to beat it was thus embedded in my mind, and not in a good way.

I didn't like the Tears of Light sections, but I loved the Silent Realms. The brief reason I think they work better:

The SMB3DW levels are fortunately all easy, but I'd actually forgotten that they were even a thing (which tells you how much impact they had). They're just levels for a completely different game and thus don't fit, but the rest of the game…absolute top notch.

Your finale of Tokyo Mirage Sessions sounds similar to mine. Hard Mode, everyone 58-62 in level, all Radiant Skills, all side stories, ad-libs, duo arts unlocked. There were moments where RNG was completely on my side (triggering The Tunnel Home when one of my party members was sealed and I didn't want to bring

Wizzros are the absolute worst, and they only get tougher later (sorry). I believe in you to find Dungeon 7, though.

The raw stuff'll get cooked later, it'll sterilize whatever's down there.

I think the other thing with Nintendo Land is that its games actually had a good deal of depth to them. I can't judge 1-2-Switch too much, since it's not out yet, but something tells me that many of its games will really only get played a few times. There's not really any tactical switch-ups that you can do with "open

Not too strange, I wish I could be super excited for 1-2-Switch. But, these days I don't have many social gatherings, at least not at one place (mostly D&D with my friends on Skype). The games look super fun, though, and I'm kind of fascinated by the technology in the first place.

Yeah, the first Galaxy's second collection is really only good if you put the game down for a while and then feel like replaying. It's just the same thing as the first playthrough. Galaxy 2 actually makes its Green Stars compelling, though, and my wife and I 100%ed it together in the end.

The drops always stink. I dropped into the B's from A+ once, and it was a miserable hell. The worst thing is that, no matter how much you think "at least all my opponents are B's, I should be able to stomp them", your team will still be full of people who have no idea what map control is.
