It might happen after we hear more about the plans with the Switch, is I guess what I'm saying. We have no idea at the moment if I can carry over Virtual Console games from one system to another, so, especially with my current backlog that I'm working through, it's hard to justify buying a game (even one that's a mere

Nah, I had it on an emulator but never got around to it.

If just that is what pushes them to unforgivable, then someone missed out on all the writing of the first Splatoon…

Yeah, I had the Rock Band one on as background when it was first airing while I cleaned my apartment.

I've only played later era Castlevania games (Symphony of the Night is the oldest one), but III has always been the one I've most wanted to check out, mostly because of the interesting expanded cast. It's popped up at GDQ events, and every time I get tempted to buy it. This article is making me even more tempted.

I'm most excited for the ease of access with the Joy Con, and the fact that it's a console built for local multiplayer. Snipperclips shows that you can make a simple game for it that's entirely built around co-op, and you're pretty much guaranteed that the console owner can play. Sure, you need to make sure that you

Couldn't respond to you on Steam thread, because it's closed, and I can't figure out if there's a way to send Steam message or something. You asked about 3D World multiplayer: if they have the 3DS version, it's technically 3D Land, which is a different game. 3D World's multiplayer only works on Wii U.

Even though it definitely feels a bit unfinished, it's actually pretty darn impressive that it turned out so well, given the development hell it went through. But, yeah, parrying is a bit…I dunno, it feels less refined than some of Platinum's other techniques. Mainly due to it being on the analog stick: sometimes

Yeah we really didn't have any proper articles this week, only a couple news items like the Switch update and the Scalebound cancellation. There's some good in the discussion over there, but not the same type of insight that we get from Special Topics.

Yeah, the Switch hype is real here. Managed to get a pre-order through Best Buy, as well as a copy of the Master Edition of Breath of the Wild through Amazon. Pretty stoked.

Yeah, just for right now. But, we'll also see how much time I have for it when it does come out; it's scheduled for Summer, which is also when my kid is due. So…gaming time might drop.

I think you can drop back down if you're S-rank, but I also think you lose fewer points for a loss. I think it's always 5. I know also if you get high enough, the game forever recognizes it in some way (I think if you hit S+ with 99 points then your number becomes gold forever or something. I'm not crazy enough to go

Yeah, I managed to do all that, at least. The most ridiculous is the final Kahkoo-Regah, which is different across all difficulties, but is the same thing pretty much. Take a hit, you lose. Took forever, but managed to do. My problem is that now my only thing left to do is find a couple collectibles (few of the random

I've heard rumors that there's one in the works, but never heard about it being at the presentation. Hold on a while longer, I say.

Yeah. It's unfortunate that her creator has to be kept away from her, but we can also be honest with ourselves and realize that he didn't make the bikini-clad ending to be some powerful pro-feminism message. One case where the fans interpreted the character a lot better than the creator.

Aww man, we just had that talk with the Shy Guy last week. It's just so…I mean…I couldn't understand what we'd just done.

First off, shout-out to AGDQ, which is running this week. People speed-running games for charity is always fun, and I got to watch them blitz through Platinum's Legend of Korra adaptation earlier today. https://www.twitch.tv/games…

Okay, I have to ask…does that work? It doesn't get messy in your wet hands and melt too quick in the heat?

There are a lot more that are currently Japan-exclusive. Can't think of ones off the top of my head, but I see them pop up a lot by following Gematsu. Some are mobile only, others go to Vita/PS4, and there's occasionally 3DS things (one that I can think of now is that the 3DS is getting an exclusive version of RPG

I don't think they should stop trying, but I don't think banking it all on Scalebound was the way to go. I'm curious if they're making actual attempts to get a lot of the third party JRPG developers on their system. I constantly see RPGs coming to the Vita, PS3, and PS4, curious if those are just the companies
