So you don't think Trump has ever sexually assaulted anyone? And you would suggest that a man who has run a campaign of hate, who has manipulated people into believing that he has an ounce of good in him, who degrades and mocks everyone who isn't him to this day, would bring the ideal, good concept of God to the White

Also, only some Tic Tacs are orange.

Yep. It says something that the funniest results can often come from literally just randomly drawing cards. I got really sad when our usual Friday-night hangout in college got introduced to it. Everyone stopped playing Picture Telephone (which had way more creativity and hilarity) and moved on to it.

Eagle's Tower quickly became one of my favorite Zelda dungeons. It was kind of mind-boggling that such a thing could even work and exist on the Gameboy, it was so complex.

In honor of Color Splash's release, I finally finished writing a look back at the whole Paper Mario series, and where I stand on each. It's a bit lengthy and I might clean it up in the future (will probably add pictures throughout to at least highlight each game), but give it a read if you have time. https://jakeoti.wo

The core of every non-Wii Paper Mario game is turn-based RPG, although they also feature Zelda-esque puzzle-solving and exploration (although if you're looking for head-scratching puzzles, you won't find much in them). So, kinda depends on if you like that.

All I know is that I managed to beat it first time, but I lost so many units. By the end, I also had a ton of pot placement memorized, even taking one turn at the start to give most of my units the defense boost from the Medicine right at the start. If only I'd known one, though; I had Silas break a Poison that was

So I'm not the only one who has that Save problem! I will so often forget to save. The other night, I'd saved after beating a hard fight for a sidequest, then finished up the sidequest, went into the Idolasphere for another one, fought several enemies, defeated a Savage Enemy Encounter, more enemies, ran into another

Sweet! I should actually be able to participate tomorrow night, I'm never off on the 8th! Can't say the same for the other dates, but oh well.

This week has been very hectic and allowed for little to no gaming, but I hope to fix that over the weekend. As usual, bus rides will be devoted to Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest, while the Wii U will be seeing some more Tokyo Mirage Sessions while I'm alone, and some Paper Mario: Color Splash when the wife is with me.

Except it was just the Squ when Mario RPG was made.

It's strange that people backlash so much to them innovating, when, at the same time, they get a whole lot of flak from people for not innovating. "Oh, another Mario platformer!" or "I wonder if Link will get the bow and arrows" are typical complaints. Now, it could be that Nintendo's loyal fans want more of the same

Yeah, as much as I liked Sticker Star, I will agree that it's writing was…not bad, just lacking. There wasn't much memorable to it. Partially because there wasn't even that much: most stages saw Mario and Kersti going through empty spaces with no interaction.

I want to give my thoughts on Super Paper Mario here, but I actually have an essay going over the entirety of the series that I'm close to finishing. I'll link it on the site. Spoiler, though: similar thought.

What is a man?

I think the Temple of the Ocean King was a good idea, but it wasn't executed properly. The stealth and use of shortcuts was very smart, but the fact that it looks and sounds like the other dungeons and caves in the game is disappointing. I also can't help but feel that the time limit thing is a bit of wasted

I'm assuming since you don't know if you're at the end of the Glitzville storyline that this is your first time playing TTYD. Good times. What color Yoshi do you have, incidentally?

The Xenoblade addiction can be strong, and I imagine it will only escalate with XCX, which is so much more exploration based. I still need to return to it and beat it. One of many things on my Wii U bucket list.

I watched a bit of the Game Grumps (or rather Steam Train) play of Clustertruck, it looks pretty fun and frustrating. I feel like it would be a good game to play while drinking, with each person trading off the controller.

While I haven't played either of these games (but do know of their existence, partially to the upcoming Chase: Cold Case Investigations, which is a somewhat spiritual successor to Hotle Dusk), that first paragraph really does strike a note with me. That sense of boredom and getting used to it, accepting it and
