I really wish I could agree with this, because I wanted Burton's version to be so good. Or for it to at least be a more faithful adaptation of the book, with Burton's weirdness and Depp being able to portray the constantly bouncing Wonka that Dahl wrote as opposed to the more reserved (still great, mind) Wilder.

Two that come to mind, both my favorite tracks from the Castlevania games that I've actually played and beaten.

This has definitely been a console era where they've tried to merge console lives with social media and our non-gaming lives. The 360 and the PS3 started to do this, since they had achievements shareable on social media, but this gen really started doing it. The Share Button on the PS4 is one of the main reasons I

Yeah, it would be pretty much impossible to emulate Sunshine on the Wii U, just because it controls based on the triggers being analog and not button. Only way would be if you made the GameCube Adapter work with things other than Smash.

Haha, second place now! It's the role I was born to play!…literally…

Yeah, 10 was brutal, but I managed to figure out some strats for it. Having Effie defend the right chokepoint on her own while Silas took the left was possibly the best decision, since that meant the rest of my army could concentrate on mid and actually push forward. Managed to not only not lose anyone, but also got

I'm not a Lego game player, although I did do a bunch of the first Star Wars one on my cousin's PS2 and was surprised by actually how well designed it was. Not enough to get into the series, but they actually are remarkably good co-op games.
That being said, I did get Undercover, and it is really fun. Big open-world

Aww, I love the first one, possibly more than TTYD…but I can also completely see how it's not as engaging if you play it second. TTYD basically took everything the original did and amped it up to 11.

Well, TTYD can't be just on the eShop until they remake it at this point, since GameCube games in general aren't on…which is also really sad, since that's a really great library that deserves another chance in the spotlight. Hopefully the NX adds both GameCube compatibility and TTYD.

I would definitely recommend going into SMT IV if you haven't. From what I understand, you don't really have to have played other SMT games to "get" it (it's the only one I've played, at least, and I didn't feel like I was missing stuff). It's also only $20 on the eShop now, which is a pretty good bargain.
I'm also not

I'm upset that I didn't get Color Splash last night! It went up for pre-load on the eShop, but, due to a mistake, that pre-load was less pre and more down. Okay, that was weird wording, basically everyone who pre-loaded it last night can actually play it. So, a little bummed that I missed out on that. At the same

I really loved Skyward Sword whenever I first played it. The dungeons were excellent, I liked progressing through the three areas, the story was great, I even liked Fi. There were a few qualms I had (I don't mind that the three areas are so separate, but it would have been nice to have had one or two ways to go

My biggest problem (or is it a strength?) is just how my timing with New Leaf works. I usually only play it on the bus to and from work, so, if an animal asks me to come over later in the day, the earliest time they can set is usually after I'll be off the bus, but they won't let you set it for past midnight, which is

I got really side-tracked in my playthrough once I got the Master Sword, just because exploring finally actually opens up.

It's still the Fire Emblem duo: Tokyo Mirage Sessions and Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest! I'm currently in Chapter Two of Sessions; I made my way through the dungeon, but I guess I can't actually save the day yet. I just saw the one guy's concert and am heading back to the office. I got a bit distracted during the

I think it might have already lost a bit of its legacy since its sequels didn't really enhance the lore. They either answered things or made new questions about things that everyone already was wondering about. I think even the meta-gamers got a bit tired of it with the rapid output.

I'm not a Twin Peaks viewer, but I know the general impression that people have of it, so have some thoughts, especially compared to the Alien franchise as you mentioned. For starters, it's a small/familiar area, right? That pretty much screams good/easy game design, since a small area that the player explores in

There's a lot to be read into Chara (as their somewhat official name is). My personal belief is that they aren't even the same as the human who fell that Asriel befriended. After all, the Genocide Run clearly has them slowly taking over and controlling Frisk, right down to the different sayings in the mirror at the

For me, Earthbound (the only Mother game I've gotten all the way through; was struggling through Beginnings and I'm still holding out hope for an official Mother 3) has a certain level of parenting and guidance from player to characters. Right from the start, there's a dissonance between you and the main characters.

And how many non-refugee related crimes happened that same Saturday?
