... So what there saying is you don't own the software but rather the right to use it... Well I sort of knew that when I went to buy the software. If I owned the software, I would have been getting profits from people buying it.

Will Apple add support for computers through iChat or something similar yes. Will they make it windows, possibly they may just rely on Skype for Windows.

@OMG! Mars478 is a PONY!: Sounds interesting. I am looking at the OptiBay doesn't seem to be that bad of a project. I have used my DVD drive once when I reinstalled the OS, so it could be a worthy purchase.

@OMG! Mars478 is a PONY!: Are you custom modding that or having someone do it for you? I would love some instructions on how to wire/mount that. I would look to do that in my 13" MBP.
