I can’t blame the guy, it’s a gorgeous phone (probably the best of 2016, sans the fatal flaw). And, honestly, I don’t think he’s wrong with his estimation of risk vs reward. Until Samsung stops releasing updates, of course, which I imagine they will do sooner (AKA now) than later.
