Uh, Frank Thomas is in the Hall of Fame bro.

I work right by the Knoxville Planned Parenthood. Every Friday there are protester out there. Harassing people. One walked right up to my car and started trying to have a conversation about “baby murder” while I was stopped at the traffic light.
If only Derek Fisher would have “Stood his ground.” Damn those California gun laws!
I thought her part was excellent! She’s one of my favorites as well.
My thoughts exactly. My aunt and uncle moved out of the city when their girls were born, and remain horrified to this day of the politics of the people in there area.
I grew up in a small town where black people were rare, to say the least. The smartest thing I did was move to the city almost immediately after graduation and surround myself with as many people with different backgrounds as myself.
Yeah, that one is rough. The Missouri school one was the episode that made me physically upset. I was walking around downtown Knoxville and had to sit down. It dawn on me that while it seems diverse here, many of the people I was looking at harbored the same beliefs as those parents.
I did not! For whatever reason until listening to that episode I imagined he was a pretentious rock and roll douche bag. I’m guessing my older brother hated his music, and influenced me this way.
I can actually see that. The whole episode may have not been the strongest (Even though Merrill Markoe’s story had to be about her break-up with Letterman, no?) but just I had always imagine Phil Collins to be a horrible douche, and he was so nice and supportive of her.
Yes. I have listened to every episode of this, I first heard it when I was 17 oh so many years ago. “Petty Tyrant” is an amazing story, and “The Problem We All Live With” made me physically upset while I was listening to it.
This sad breakdown makes the OP even funnier.
I can’t way to enjoy the well reasoned and thoughtful responses to this on Facebook.
I think it’s a bit more populated now. My little brother got married at Pine Knob mansion two summers ago. Did you know there was a Pine Knob mansion!?
Yep! And they rocked too. I remember some kid walking around with a “Weiland for Congress” sign he must have stolen out of some lawn along the way.
I mention that in another comment. I saw the tour in Detroit and I would say the majority of the crowd was there for STP. STP did not disappoint. RHCP did. Big time.
Saw STP on their 2000 tour with the Chili Peppers. Scott put on a hell of a show, and I have to imagine even some hard core RHCP’s fans left knowing the wrong band was headlining that tour.
It’s actually really hard to find a Kid Rock cover band. Even struggling musicians want to showcase their talent.
That sweet ‘stache of his just needs more room to flourish.
This video reminded me of the “Celebrity Beatdown” video years ago when Keith Closs got the shit beat out of him, which lead to me googling Keith Closs, which lead me to find out he has 3 DUI’s and wears customized NBA jerseys with his name on the back.
I was thinking along the lines of Firzcarraldo.
