That’s right, my work-pod is window-less and filled with “productivity fluid.”

Sure, I’ll trust someone who’s avi is marmite instead of vegemite...

Nobody died

Found the guy fucking with Korey’s car.

Worth it! Of course, the line had a good view of the Lucha Libre ring too. I bet you don’t get that on Everest.

My neighbor got a blue Silverado recently. My wife tells me, “Did you see that nice looking truck our neighbor just got?”

The difference being she’s getting paid while the passengers are paying for the experience of not getting to their destination on time.

Yeah, but the blonde supermodel stains are that much harder for Kato to clean out of the fabric.

So...

Yes exactly. I have the ct200h f sport and I wish it was the exact same car with a turbo instead of the hybrid Atkinson thing. A ct200T. It handles so well and looks fast just doesn’t drive fast ... which is the point of looking fast haha

You nailed it. First time driving one as a loaner and it was a bit startling how much pedal travel you needed just to get going. I think a non-hybrid model priced cheaper would’ve been hot. It’s too bad the NX’s 2.0T came out at a time when the Lexus brass probably already decided to kill the CT for the US market.

Bam...nailed it, at least for me. I liked them, but always thought they were seriously under powered.

That is a good and fun car. If I could get similar good and fun in a scaled down version in a hatchback I would be well pleased. But that is not the car America wants. America wants to sit up tall.

It should be offered with a 2.0L Turbo, a Hybrid, and something more powerful to stick an F badge on.

I honestly think it would have been great if it had the 2.5l hybrid powertrain from the Camry.

I’ve always like the look of the CT200h, both pre- and post- facelift. My partner even wanted to look at one.

I seriously feel there is a huge market for performance hybrids. All you need is the boost from 0-30 till you can get the RPMs into the fat part of the torque curve and you can probably shave a second off anything’s 0-60.

I always thought the (pre-”spindle” grille) CT200h was a handsome car.  The Prius method of hybridization is just terribly underwhelming, not really capitalizing on what electric motors do well.

That dude in the header image has definitely gotten into multiple fights at slow-pitch softball tournaments.
