Yes, I agree very much. Who cares that he spoke coherently (mostly)? That should be a given, not an achievement. What he said is much more important, and terrifying. Trump supporters keep saying how liberals, or anyone opposed to Trump, are over reacting with the comparisons to Hitler. But with the unveiling of his

Eloquently put.

Easy peasy. By talking out of both sides of their mouth. As Trump and his minions always do.

Yes! I imagine most people don’t begrudge giving the wife a moment of national attention. But it’s completely tainted by the fact that it was done purely for political theater and to give Trump cover from his previous attempt to take no responsibility (EARLIER THAT SAME DAY!!!!).

These people are vile hypocrites. That is all.

Agreed! What drives me insane is how brazen he is about it. This is not a cunning or wily man. His duplicity is obvious. How can any decent, reasonably intelligent person (whether they be Republican, Democrat or whatever) condone this type of behavior?

You’re missing the point of this article. And of all stories documenting Trump’s golfing habits.

I find it tiresome, and endlessly vexing, how so many people can gloss over, or simply not think it’s a big deal, that billionaire sports owners demand, and are usually given by our spineless politicians, millions of dollars of taxpayer money for their own personal enrichment.

Excellent article. A great examination and dissection of this buffoon’s “press conference”. There are too few journalists that seem to understand (or care?) the danger in constantly regurgitating his fact free, racist tantrums. And I really loved your insight into why you didn’t want to repeat them; which was even

This is the saddest thing I’ve read today. Because it is truth.

Because then they would have to address the complicated, thorny issues he is actually talking about instead of hiding like cowards behind their phony, flimsy “stand for the anthem or you don’t respect soldiers” smoke screen.

I thought the same thing.

He likes to appear awesome. He’s all about selfies and glad handing. Canadians like him because he allows us to think we’re better than everyone; because he appears to want everyone from all walks of life to get along and be friends! And while that in itself is a good thing, that seems to be the beginning and end of

Agreed. Thought, over the course of their history, the Raptors seem to love to overpay players for career years.

This really made my day!

I can’t speak for basketball players, but the knee braces in football can actually increase the chances of re-injury. As a result of the brace, the supporting muscles weaken and heighten the chances of blowing out your knee again. They are the worst.

Totally agreed. However, if the Big 12 actually wanted to have some shred of integrity, why doesn’t the conference pay for the investigation? Granted, that isn’t a whole lot better than Baylor paying, but it would be a tiny step in the right direction.

And this is exactly why Drew wrote that Patriot fans hit piece. lol

Agreed. This guy gets to have his cake and eat it too. What could be better for a rich guy? He gets to take the moral high ground with his hollow speech AND exploit the coming financial deregulation that Trump is going to impose so his “nice friends with nice businesses” can finally catch a break.

The NCAA sold their ethics and morals to the elite college programs years ago. It’s a corrupt and craven organization whose existence, and faux authority, is only tolerated by the universities so they can have the appearance of those ethics and morals.
