You guys do all know RE3 didn't have innovation because it wasn't meant to be a numbered title. Code Veronica was suppose to be RE3 but for reasons that are long and complicated Capcom decided to not do it that way, therefore, re3 lacked in innovation if they'd remake it I'm sure it would continue to be a blast.
