Stamkos, Hall, Subban
Such a steal for the Devils. One might even call it...a Larsson-y.
That wiki list of offer sheets is an incredible what-could-have-been page. Teemu Selanne to the Flames, Joe Sakic to the Rangers, Sergei Fedorov to the Hurricanes, Ryan Kesler and/or Shea Weber to the Flyers...
Rex coached a Mark Sanchez-led Jets team to consecutive AFC Championship games. He should get a statue in Canton for that coaching performance.
The game never should’ve gotten to that point in the first place. The umps should’ve stopped it in the 6th inning. Also, it wouldn’t have gotten to that point if they hadn’t inexplicably delayed the start of the game 25 minutes before it even started to rain.
For the Rangers it’s obviously Hugh freaking Jessiman. Could’ve had Dustin Brown, Ryan Getzlaf, Zach Parise, Brent Burns, Ryan Kesler or Corey Perry.
Will anyone ever be able to answer this question: How in the world did Lebron only score 8 points in 46 minutes in Game 4 of the 2011 NBA Finals?
The Warriors were exhausted, Curry was hurt, and Lebron is superhuman. It’s as simple as that.
Peter Gammons should be nominated for Best Tweet.
In Ayesha’s defense, It’s easy to be upset when your 50 year old mother in law is hotter than you.
Isn’t having to spend a day in Cleveland punishment enough?
“Lebron James has been suspended for the remainder of the Finals after testing positive for performance enhancing drugs.”
He’s a modern day Mitch Richmond.
The Rangers won the President’s Trophy last year with Lundqvist injured half the season and they could’ve done it again if they’d dumped the right guys in the offseason. They were garbage because their defense fell apart thanks to the ineptitude of Staal and Girardi and their penalty kill tanked after losing Hagelin…
The Penguins won the East the moment they traded for Hagelin. He is the perfect complementary piece to any Eastern Conference contender with his speed plus his penalty killing ability. I fully believe that if the Rangers had just kept him and dumped Girardi or Staal instead, they would’ve been back in the Finals.
They need to get rid of the rule that allows coaches to challenge when plays are offsides by millimeters. As long as that fraction of an inch does not give the offense an advantage, the goal should not be overturned.
You clearly don’t live in NYC.
As a Yankee fan, I would gladly welcome Ortiz getting benched while in New York.

The Giants trading for Eli Manning worked for both teams.
