Because the alternative is saying, “She’s gaining ground because she’s presenting well-developed policies that people like,” or “People prefer her style of communication,” and pointing that out is a very poor campaign strategy.

But he says the exact opposite of that. He says that there are some people who would like to see a woman succeed, then adds her relative age (8 years younger), and finishes with “There are a lot of factors out there.” It’s not reductive! At all!

She is a complete charisma hole that does stupid tone deaf shit for reasons no one seems to understand. She’s also a genius in her area of expertise. But if she was an old man right now she would not be polling as high. I don’t know how you argue otherwise.

Bernie has the same or more detailed policies. Ex: his college plan. Now it’s great that Warren has policy, unlike someone like Biden, but the claim that Warren is all policy and Bernie is all talk is disingenuous.
