I've just tried uploading "Standard Size" pics to G+. I think they are too small. I use a laptop, and I feel like I'm not seeing everything. Not sure if I should continue using Standard Size G+ upload, switch to Full Size" G+ upload, or go back to Flickr.

I'm uploading pics from my laptop. How can I ensure the pics I upload don't count against my storage? The most related setting I found is "Upload my photos at full size."

Rosanna, I have some photos on my Google Drive, as a backup. But how do they show up on G+? Do you have to manually transfer from GDrive to Google Plus?
