I wonder how they’re going to approach the Sims 3 > Sims 4 problem where the new numbered entry in the series lacks features from the previous one’s DLC catalog...

TF2 was one of the first to do pay to open lootboxes though, and pretty much was the precursor to the nightmares we see today.

But will they finally release the last comic?

The last few Team Fortress summer events have only been item updates. But this year, we’re planning on shipping a full-on update-sized update — with items, maps, taunts, unusual effects, war paints and who knows what else?! Which means we need Steam Workshop content! YOUR Steam Workshop content!

These are not free. Included with purchase of amz prime would be a better headline.

The company also points out that the last Elder Scrolls game was released in 2011

Seems like Hotz reduced himself to this when he praised Musk’s illegal “hardcore or fired” nonsense and offered to work for three months for no pay.

Why did they do this? I mean I assume the answer is to make money but it seems so obviously stupid for a site that has from what I can see a decent track record.

“I’m not playing this game because I wanna bully people and it won’t let me” is so weak. WEAK.

The internet should be a utility.

I don’t think it’s misleading at all. The vast majority of these incidents happened during his tenure there, so it’s entirely valid to include him. Even if he left because of the culture, which is highly doubtful, that means he tolerated it for the greater part of 2 decades before deciding enough was enough. He

Maybe wait a bit until they fix the bugs of the new patch?

The “grounded in reality” aspect isn’t the main reason for the design choice. Here’s what the article should have actually focused on:

“Pre-order now!”

Great they’re putting so much effort into the PC port but I’d be surprised if they don’t end up destroying it all with Denuvo malware.
