I definitely think she’s safer being outspoken and in front of the camera telling her story, than if she sat back quietly. They’re known to harass and stalk former members.

I am going to watch the shit out of this.

I wonder if this is a safe-ish way for high profile people to get out, in a weird way- being so openly critical that it would obviously implicate scientology if they tried to disappear her like they have to others.

That was B A N A N A S. That guy was soooooo creepy and terrible. And those people were in it for like 25 years!

There’s one book (can’t remember the name of it, but I’m looking for it now) that was written by the guy that was supposed to be L Ron Hubbard’s biographer, but when he started doing research and trying to get more info for the book, realized the insane amount of bullshit that is Scientology.

Ive noticed that girl on Sunset/Vermont too on my drive back east from LA Fitness. She’s really cute and has a nice friendly smile. They must be training the flyer hander-outers to be more warm cuz they can usually spot skeptics (non idiots) a mile away.

One of the weirdest things about moving to LA was realizing how much influence Scientology has around the town. On my way home from work, I drive by no less than three Scientology-related buildings and regularly get accosted by Scientologists handing out pamphlets on the street corner, even when I’m in my car (on the

I highly recoment the books “Going clear” and

I’ve been reading “Beyond Belief” which was co-written by Ron Miscavige’s niece. Pretty fucked up stuff.

And get Going Clear on Audible too. It’s really good.

I recently started reading the book — only half way through but its a great read. She wrote it like she speaks and it feels very honest. She’s not kind to herself... which makes ever word she tells that much more believable.

Yes, it is very good. The book is even better. It gives a full biographyy of hubbard and the history of the church.

I can’t wait for this! I live in East Hollywood and am surrounded by Scientology buildings and staff. I used to live directly across the street from the big blue building and I would watch them from my window. I am so curious as to what happens in the buildings and where they bus everyone to.

I. am. so. here. for. this. Drag them to hell, Leah.

*Runs to Audible.

I need to read it!!!

Oh snap! She’s going there and I loooove it!

Leah Remini won me over with “Troublemaker” because of how she tells it as it is. I ordered it on Audible which was the best decision ever because I got to listen to it in her outspoken New Yorker accent. Highly entertaining!

Leah did not come to play.

The forced abortion thing, to me, is particularly cruel, in a particularly cruel cult. Some of these women were married and wanted their children. And the cult responded by separating married couples and forcing abortion on these women.
