So, first, it’s a state job. Good benefits, possibly even a real pension.

That was my instant, visceral reaction reading that question before I even got to the answer. That was absolutely a shut up and dribble question. Moreover, by failing to identify some actual specific source of such comments and instead just saying “some people say”, which makes it sound like the questioner is lending

Yeah, she was being an asshole and is mad that Denzel didn’t go for it.

“Denzel—are you—do you feel—you know some people say Hollywood folks should stick to acting,” Couric asked.

Hey, a bag of hair has value.. this person lacks even that benefit.

But this is par for the course.. For MANY (not all) East Asians, they buy into the hate simply because it engenders them to the whites who see them as “allies” in oppressing/building off the backs of others.

So surprised?.. hell no.. the only thing

For me, this is one of the best things Trump did. Being who he really is has increasingly emboldened racists who normally stick to saying racist ass shit on rando accounts on Facebook and such. Now they want to do the same and can not understand why they are losing their jobs left and right. It’s so damned beautiful.

You are so right; off the top of my head I can think of 6 or 7 Shakespearean roles he would knocked out of the park.

A friend who knows I am (and will always be) a huge fan of his (but really, who isn’t?) sent a me text that he passed.

Ain’t she tho?!?

I love what Wendell Pierce said about Michael Kenneth Willimas:

He really was a great character actor. In star-studded assembles, he still stood out, and The Wire wasn’t even his best work.

He was a Brilliant actor. I would have loved to see him in Shakespeare and I am not talking not just Othello..........................

Hey God, you’re taking the wrong ones.

^ This. Outside of his first single Old Town Road, other than a bump when he drops a new video you really don’t hear anything about his music.  All the press and stories focus on his sexuality.  Which I kind of get, he is the first rapper to be out and open, but at the same time, no one talks about his musical talent,

Lil Nas X is representative of an increasing cultural decline in our community I find scary as hell. And anyone seeking to justify or intellectualize the depravity of ‘Industry Baby’ has contempt for Black people. Not even the KKK could have come up with this vulgarity against us - this is almost genocidal.

I can’t believe people still fall for this schtick.Bowie, Prince, Madonna etc, have all done this thing before ( and better) If people really have a problem with him, then shut up and let his talent be the ultimate judge. I hear more about people’s reaction to what Nas X does in a video or performance, than I hear
