in the videos that have been released they do mention that the infection is global. Y1 may start in NYC but i think it has potential to get bigger. NY is a pretty diverse place with many unique and distinguishing areas all in its own. it would be pretty great if the seasons changed the longer the game had been out!…

i think its both. the closed beta carries over but with the full customization menu being offered, i would definitely start a new character

that is the size of the open beta! not the game itself just a greatly expanded version of the previous beta
