@mipakr: Just to clarify, Universal Extractor doesn't make an app portable, it just extracts the files in the installer. If the application can run portably, it's no different than installing an app and copying the files to a flash drive.

Note that while you can register and add services to be indexed, you can't actually use it until your account is enabled.

I saw this on TechCrunch, but I'm leery of giving a third party access to all of my email. I hope Google will implement live search soon, because the functionality is awesome. Live search is great in any application.
Checkvist is a better option. It lets you collaborate on lists along with its many other features.

WSCC (Windows System Control Center) doubles as a launcher as well as an updater for SysInternals and NirSoft apps. It's portable too. It works great.
