The core, fundamental purpose of society and government is to keep *everyone* safe. To keep the fire warm and the wolves at bay. Because we have found that making life better for all means that if there is a time in our lives when things are not great, we get help. Arguing against that notion is a good way to wind up

That’s my exact thought process when these 80's crap cans show up here.  I was there when they were new, they were crap then, crap now.

Had the same car in black and a 1978. My Mom borrowed it and was rear ended by a Taxi. Car was totaled. Mom was fine though so it all worked out.

Seek professional help . . .

My Mom has a 1961 Imperial Lebaron. My dad had a big shed built so they could keep it out of the elements, and i’m fairly certain he could fit his F250 super duty inside the shed and have more room to spare than he does with that whale of a car..

wow, I do not think I have ever seen one like this before. thank you, I just found one great looking car. googled, looks as good from the back as it deos from the front....

I’ll bet it steers just fine, given that the engine is so far forward. But I’ll bet it also has the turning radius of the Exxon Valdez. And none of that would much matter if driven around in a state of perpetual wheelie... which is exactly what I would do with it until it broke in half.

Yes, but it’s probably accurate in a way.

I saw one used at a Yamaha dealer with a NOS bottle on the side. The owner of the dealership said it was unhooked, but would work if you hooked it up; he wasn’t gonna sell it hooked up. And he told my 21-yr old ass, “don’t even think about this one, they’re a handful without the bottle”; I’ve always wanted one, but

I test rode a VMax when they first came out.

Looking at this as a clone - no deal/dice/etc for that price. It is in good shape for the year but going to the part bin and throwing the next level items on it doesn’t make it more valuable.

Joplin resident here. Tornados are serious business. But I’d rather visit the coasts and live here any day.

I find myself yet again thinking how glad I am that I moved from NY to the Midwest.

Truth! I am in Lexington, KY and there is absolutely zero reason to leave for a coastal area.

Looks like your fuel system is set up for an external combustion engine.

I hope so....else I’ll be making me Genesis last 4x longer than i was expecting..

I’m ready to throw car parts at someone’s head soon if that shit doesn’t go away.  Do they not realize they’re more likely to annoy people than get them  to do whatever it is they think they want them to do???????

What’s important to me is being able to open an article in Jalopnik without a video autoplaying.
