I liked Santino's unabashed baldness and speaking like an Elcor. On the other hand I think back to that episode of Queer Eye For The Straight Guy where they all really hated the guy's girlfriend. On first seeing her she's wearing these knee length shiny black platform boots and Carson says "There's a hooker in

There is a very definite artistry in her looks and her whole jaded New York supermodel ennui is super endearing

I really hope that's exactly what happened

I do love the transformation aspect which this season is delivering on. Trixie looks very different out of drag and even the prettiest ones like Pearl and Violet do go for strikingly transformative looks. The most underwhelming queen ever on Drag Race was Kenya Michaels who always looked exactly the same.

I keep hoping Attack The Block director Joe Cornish will be a celebrity guest judge being the most pleasantly urbane gentleman in the English speaking world. Also Drag Race producers Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato also produced The Adam And Joe Show back in the 90s. Or Adam Buxton. Not the biggest star in America

I do love the contrast between how Kasha looks in and out of drag. She's very Joan Collins which as a child of the 80s I'm very tickled by.

Violet does know how to create a striking visual image so when in drag she's always fascinating to watch. Out of drag she does look somewhat like a 15 year old girl.

I kept thinking she had sneaked off one of those episodes where they turn a straight dude into a drag queen and somehow managed to finagle her way into being a contestant.

If she'd been on any subsequent season she'd have been gone by episode 2.

I thought Phi Phi had all the charm and refinement of a rabid honey badger and wished she'd been sent home early. But it's not fair to judge someone entirely on their worst moments on a reality tv show from three years ago. It's good to see how much she has grown as an artist and hopefully as a person.

Has Oliver not got his review up yet or has the AVClub stopped covering Drag Race. That would be a terrible shame as I do so love the debate and the community here. Admittedly yesterday's was not the most memorable of episodes, I have only just finished watching and already it's erasing all trace of it from my mind.

Untucked is not available to those of us outside the USA. It must have content so extreme and salacious that it would make our non-American brains melt and Logo are doing this just to protect us.

There was a charity telethon on ITV in the early 90s which had a bit where Bob Hoskins dressed as Cher. This would have been not long after Mermaids came out. The outfit was far too conservative for Cher but Bob did make a pleasingly attractive woman. I can't find any trace of this on Youtube so I'm starting to

Among other things Graham Linehan and Adam Buxton in this exuberantly funny yet melancholic interview discuss the end of their creative comedy marriages http://www.bbc.co.uk/progra…

As soon as I saw Darienne's runway looks I thought of Mystique. Her "executive" looked she wasn't trying and had just given up, it was three random inelegant items of clothing put together.

When I heard they were doing a stand up challenge I thought Laganja would do well at this by playing to her strengths and going for physical comedy and slapstick, so giving her the momentum and confidence to stick around for a few more episodes. Thankfully I was wrong.

I totally agree with you, E4 would be the most likely even if they did drop RPDR from it's plum midnight slot after only two seasons. It's producers Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato did have a working relationship with and made various shows for E4's parent station Channel 4 back in the 90s, quite a few of which

If a UK network was serious about doing their own version of Drag Race then the ideal choice to host this would be Rupaul. Dancing with the Stars and Strictly Come Dancing do share the same judges, Ru could base himself in London for a couple of months of the year and the queens would not just be from the UK but from

I also have the nagging feeling that Laganja'll make it far further than she deserves to. She'll do well at the stand up challenge as she could do physical comedy and her personality is what I imagine most stand ups to be like offstage.
