The thing is, no matter how dumb it is, it will look amazing. Everything Snyder touches is visually spectacular, no matter how bad the writing is (even Suckerpunch, for all it's awful one liners and terrible acting, is basically a gorgeous live action anime music video)

Most artists I know (including myself) draw noses like that in that sort of indication. Especially in BW, features are different for different races so relying on skintone isn't always applicable. I guess we'll read it different ways

Actually I think the noses are more an indication of race. Many non-white races have a sloped-bridge nose like that, it fits her skin tone more than a pointy nose.
