Not having been in an assembly-line type of job, I am genuinely curious to know what special skill or intellect qualifies an automobile assembly-line worker for the rate-of-pay and benefit advantages that type of job has over other assembly-line jobs.

I am 56 years old and I would gladly drive this to work. F* all the attitude and opinion about "middle-age crazy". I've always loved hot hatches, and that evolved into loving AWD and turbo'ed 4's. I drive a Forester XT, but if I had the means I'd trade it in a heartbeat for this.
What started out as a cheap economy car with an overly complex emissions system ended up being good enough for people who were fast and/or furious. The Civic Type-R is a proper hot hatch and a true modern classic.

I never could get over the fact that this mid-engine car had such a blunt nose. It seemed like such a great opportunity to put a sexy Italian droop to it. You'd never know it was a mid from a glance at it.
