"Back in '66, Jaguar only built one XJ13 prototype, complete with a mid-mounted 445 horsepower V12. Let's say they started making new ones for the same price as, say, a new XKR-S. Would you run away with the rough, old racecar rather than a fleet of new Jaguars?"

"BOOBS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY! GOODNIGHT!"

Very nice condition, but a little too dear for me. Get the price down to $5-6K and we'll talk.

So let's see...

For some reason I can't help but recall the quote by yonder nemesis...

From the imgur description:

Allow me to properly rephrase that question:

Bah and humbug, upstaged again. Must keep a stiff upper lip, though — someday I'll best you in verbal fisticuffs, old chap.

Competitor: "Man, that was a tough stage today. I think we finished pretty well in the standings, though — how d'you think you did?"

I'm loving that "Old age and treachery" sticker. That dame Maggie's got a sly sense of humor.

Waitaminute... IIRC, when the Porsche RS Spyder was being actively campaigned a couple of years ago, it wasn't uncommon for them to win outright, even with fields containing LMP1 cars — it depended on the track they were on. Regardless of what class you're in (and whatever HP advantage it confers you), if you're

*sigh* I was rather upset when Aptera collapsed. It was awful to watch as the promising vision of some really dedicated and smart people was raped and wiped out by a couple of greedy individuals.

Offering guy: "OK, so what'll it be? Testicle, or F40?"

Yes, it was incredibly stupid of them. There needs to be some form of punishment laid down on the Dad for allowing that. But for god's sake, don't completely f**k up the entire family's future doing it.

Hey whaddayknow, it's a perfect fit!

Uh-oh. You guessed it... the circled areas are nubs of steel which used to be the holding posts for the brake material. All the friction material is gone, which accounts for the lighter color of the show — that's bare abraded metal.

The backside one is super-worn, but there still seems to be a sliver of material left. How about the other side?

Yup, it's a groove deep enough to comfortably hold a small marble. How could that happen? Let's check the brake pads (the calipers were fine, apparently)...

Reminds me of the rotor we happen to have sitting in our den (it belonged on one of the cars from my spouse's family)...

You're leaving us?
