Excellent! I eagerly await the recipe for your next masterpiece, Rally a la McRae.

HOW DARE YOU!!!
Man, I love Pull-A-Part. The last couple of times I went to scrounge parts of my Protege, I spent an inordinate amount of time just wandering around and looking at other cars. It was so peaceful and tranquil.
Ha, that's more appropriate. :)
Original motto:
Let's see...
Yeah, an oversight on my part (my second comment covers that.) However, NA Miatas don't have power locks as far as I can recall — I don't remember my old '91 having them. So you'd be stuck with this problem on those models, as they also have sideways-acting latches.
Perhaps, but you'd want to minimize the stress on the glass, since it's a frameless door (I'd hate to have the window shatter halfway through the procedure.) That means a limited number of places that you could put the wedge. I'm not sure you could get it in on the front-side of the window enough to put the rod…
Post-realization edit: I didn't watch the clip closely enough, he's aiming for the power lock release. In the case of my new NC Miata, this trick would probably work (unless the alarm relocked the door... hmm, maybe I should test this...) However, my original point stands with the older (e.g. NA) Miatas without power…
I really, seriously hope that this is cross-posted to Jezebel.
I believe you're probably referring to Richard Sandrak:
"...what? Is that all you have? Totally unimpressed. I could handle more than those puny pipes could in my sleep. Just ask the NYC MTA."
"The TBM works much like you'd imagine it would at first glance."
Ah, you bring back memories from an age back (LaTech graduate.)
Hah, I remember seeing that sign several times... I think it was around Shreveport.
