3rd gear...

I can't help but think that we have only had a whiff of this gents work. I'm sure there must be someone out there who nose of more impressive performances by him.

No worries, Xzibit will come along to jump-start it for you.

Y'know... it's actually kind of cool. Italian in origin, (relatively) reliable Mustang internals and the rather limited (were there really only 280 sold here?) run would certainly make this an interesting conversation piece to own. Plus it looks original and well-taken care of. I'd be tempted to call NP...

Got your answer-list right here. I'll mention one which I don't has been put here yet... the drive-thru prayer booth, located in Tustin, outside LA.

"DC cuffs drivers"

And the 944 owners club. God Almighty, you'd think ol' Ferdinand was the Second Coming, they way they carry on about him.

Meanwhile, a few short blocks away, some poor late-model Golf sits forlornly under a cloud of hideous paint, poorly-fitted bodykits and an oversized fart-can exhaust, wondering what dreadful thing it did in its past life to be treated as such. Perhaps it was a WWII SS bayonet. Who knows.

Hey, you sound like me (also an rFactor driver, don't really race, just like learning the tracks.)

Gawd, I love you.

What? No mention of RapeLay? You practice with that the most!

Very low reciprocating mass (it doesn't need large counterweights like 90deg crankshafts), so it revs a lot faster. Good for racing applications, but because it's inherently unbalanced, it's generally not used in street cars (where less noise and vibration is usually the mantra.) Of course, Ferrari doesn't subscribe

Text message for you.

What do you expect in the current market? There is too much resistance to spending right now.

Great read, some fascinating tech in the project. Pity that the Chrysler upper-management effectively scuttled the project.

Where do you live, where the punks/goths are snapping up all the Florida-retirement boats? It would be an endless source of amusement for me.
