Tyler: “You could buy this Tornado ADV”
it looks like a 1980's Sci-Fi movie prop of what a car in 2016 will look like.
Guess I need to move LOL
Are their really enough Oligarchs and Chinese industrialists for there to be 6 way competition? People wonder why the full-sized sedan is dead in the US, and I wonder if part of it is the cost-spiral and feature creep in a direction that doesn’t really resonate with US/European buyers....
I dunno, maybe I don’t hang out with Plutocrats and Russian Oil Moguls enough, but am I the only one who think these “luxo” back seats are just a gimmick because luxury automakers are running out of ideas for new features? I mean yeah, there is the whole “Chinese industrialist with Driver” market, but still I have to…
It’s probably beautiful, but still hard tell when the car isn’t in its native environment. Maybe Photoshop it up on a lift in the mechanic’s bay? Then I’ll know for sure.
Yeah, I dunno.... I just don’t get the 3 Series love. my GF has a 2011 328, and it’s ok, and I could see how having the extra HP of a 335 or 340 would be nice, but otherwise I’m not that impressed. It’s cramped, its low, visibility is only ok, power is ok. ride is harsh. Is it fun when I’m taking it down a twisty…
Isn’t there a bad old movie about cars that eat people?
2006: “I just bought a Mustang!
Still no cure for cancer.... or fractional Hellcat ownership.....
The Mechanicals are the same,off-road feature set is the same, and the LX tends to have a few more cabin comfort goodies. Also, perversely, I’ve seen LXs run cheaper on the used market because not everyone is aware that they’re LCs under the skin. So yes, you should probably buy an LX.
I am personally of the belief that the Toyota V8 is immortal.... like a Portuguese Man of War, or Christopher Lambert
I am seriously considering a Land Cruiser when our 2003 Sequoia dies. It’s at 205,000 miles now, So only another 15 years and 200K miles or so to go! getting excited.
wow, orange... Its almost like the old Dazzle camp they tried out on Warships, I can’t even get my eyes to focus on it.
XJS with a Blower, please let this be the next NPOCP
I think wearing an M&M logo on your chest sorta knocks the wind out of the "Ultra-Macho" sail.
The overarching issue is that banks won’t write a collateralized loan on something that they can’t easily determine the value of. Too much risk, too much time and resources on something that won’t pay them any more money than the afore mentioned Mirage. Same reason they won’t finance you for paintings of Dogs playing…
Wasn’t the V-22 Osprey promised to be the swiss army knife that would replace every chopper in the inventory including the CH-53E? Before being Billions over-budget, years behind schedule, and killing a few dozen pilots and marines of course. Just goes to show, that sometimes the simpler solution is the better…
I say why just do stupid when you can double-down on stupid. Please tell me you traded it in on an MRAP.
