Honestly those terms like “progressive” are just thrown around whenever. They mean nothing. I decide which candidate I vote for based on actual policy not whether they call themselves a certain arbitrary name. In all seriousness, Hillary was lodged solidly between the center-left and left wing. Hardly a Joe Manchin if

This is pretty much the case with every protestant branch in the US. There is usually the Mainline (or sometimes a historically black) denomination that marries gay couples and does the social justice stuff, and then the evangelical ones which are constantly causing a fuss about their congregation splitting away,

Oh well she’s voting against him last i checked so.

Jesus Christ I didn’t know Elaine Chao was a white supremacist!!! also whats wrong with Jim Mattis and John Kelly, both very experienced public servants who don’t seem racist?

I get what you mean- although she was a no on tillerson- but other than him, what are your problems witn the other nominees voted on thus far? To me, she seems a lot more anti-Trump than some of her similarly positioned red state Democrats. Also, go visit decision desk HQ where they have a list of how senators are

Wait just a minute!!! Give the woman a break, shes a red state Dem up in 2018 who’s willing to oppose Sessions, Tillerson and DeVos!

It was middle class white women that caused her downfall— all of the ones who went to college swung wildly toward her, but there weren’t enough.

Black turnout was *barely* down. For the most part, they did their job to show up and vote even where the state government had tried to suppress them. Her big loss was in the midwest, where Obama still would have won even if Detroit and Milwaukee and Philadelphia had floated away.

I would add Bob Corker, Lamar Alexander, Thad Cochran, Lindsey Graham, Shelley Moore Capito and Susan Collins.

i think its sick to target anyone for their political beliefs or race— ESPECIALLY if they are disabled. however, religious, ethnic, racial and sexual minorities are far more likely to be targeted in hate crimes. the incidents you mentioned are horrific and hypocritical on the left’s part, but we don’t waste our time

I know Tomi Lahren isn’t on Fox, but the reason there are so many young blondes on Fox is because, like you said, they are attractive, especially to oldconservative men. they also tend to seem libertarian or suburban moderate type, so they can also appeal to moderate viewers and women. but their beauty is key.

Yeah— from central Mexico to Costa Rica the population is mostly mixed or native american, there to Ecuador is mostly white or mixed, Peru, Bolivia and Paraguay are largely Native, Brazil is super diverse, the Caribbean is mostly black and the Southern Cone is white. but theyre all hispanic too.

it’s important to note that our ever-evolving definition of white doesn’t align with all those who are Caucasians. Until the 60s Caucasian people from N. Ireland, great Britain, northern Germany, and northern Netherlands (i.e. Protestant-majority Europe) were the only people considered “white.” It slowly expanded to

well for one, most journalists are white and in our culture most men don’t dress or appear seductively like that. slut-shaming is never okay even if the subject was someone awful. but also, there are sluts of all races.

The suit complained about Transgender discrimination AND abortion discrimination as issues that violated federal law and the constitution. It wasn’t some random connection, though the decision was totally wrong.

See my other comment, its original intention as a federal law was to protect religious minorities like Native Americans and is usually interpreted as such, this case being an unfortunate exception.

No, you’re wrong. the original federal law was proposed by a Democrat who wanted to protect land sacred to Native American faiths. its usually interpreted to aid religious minorities rather than infringe on others’ rights at the federal level. Sadly, its been misinterpreted by certain federal judges like this one, and

Its more about whether the ACA can fund this discrimination in terms of insurance and hospitals, very little to do with what physicians can do as federal law hardly affects them. also, its an HHS-implemented rule rather than legislation so different standards may apply to how the rule can be enforced.

To point 6, its silly to believe that Bernie would have won all HRC votes like the wons she gained in wealthy suburbia. Also, black turnout would’ve been even lower since he wasn’t terribly popular among them.
