I think the confrontation and conflict is all us looking at Chip and seeing him fail to own up… to anything. I don't think any VIEWER is watching this and thinks Chip is redeemed. He just seems to damn himself more and more as time goes on, despite the best efforts of people close to him. I agree that we were waiting…
