Reminding me a bit more of Kill Bill, and maybe Scott Pilgrim.

Is that a good or a bad thing for you? That movie was criminally underrated when it came out because audiences were expecting another Matrix and/or weren’t prepared for its over the top camp.

“Creators of ‘so bad, they’re bad’ games”? Heavy Rain, a bad game? It was a huge success back in 2010, as it’s 87 score on metacritic supports. Indigo Prophecy, back in 2005 was another great game, also supported by an 85 score on Metacritic. Yes, Beyond Two Souls and Detroit weren’t appraised as high as the former…

No they shouldn’t. They weren’t treated that way as they came out, and nobody remembers them that way, either.

As true as truth can be. The lack of care, evolution, and ambition GF has furnished upon one of the largest game series in the world has been a decades long embarrassment, second only to the people who keep giving them a pass.

There’s a lot going on here. I’ll have to break it down.

Suffice to say I don’t agree with this particular take. There’s things to get excited about in this game, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t raise an eyebrow at odd choices or call out things in the trailer that don’t look good.

i can’t think of too many games that have made much noticeable positive visual design changes after first showing the game, can you?

If this was any other company, I’d be inclined to agree, but considering that SwSh’s early trailers had some animation issues that were never fixed, I think people are right to be skeptical about Game Freak.

I don’t blame this guy one bit. It’s clear that the ne WR holder was being shady or he wouldn’t have done it that way out of nowhere or feel guilt. I’m not at all impressed by someone who cuts corners to get an advantage.

Original WR holder has my respect for withdrawing from competition.  To some people sportsmanship…

There is absolutely no other competitive event in the world where this would be possible. When new records are achieved, it only seems right that they should be verified and posted as quickly as able, which is exactly the same as they would be for any other kind of competition.

The fact that you don’t think people should focus on retaking lost records and that you do think there should be “a unified champ” shows that you don’t have the first goddamn clue about why the community exists or what the hobby is.

I mean he knew what he was doing was scummy and a lot of people would be angry and betrayed by it. Yet he still did it to chase the Grand Champion title.
