the BatmoTank is one of the worst additions to any gaming franchise EVER. God I hated those missions and boss battles. Arkham City? Flat out masterpiece. Playing it tonight now that you made me think of it.

Exactly. I like games that create spontaneous, real-time problem solving opportunities. I appreciate the simplistic fun of an arcade shooter or an arena shooter, but not every game needs to be one.

I feel the same. It might be the case that the people harshing on it might be the ones that it’s not “clicking” with. At least that’s the impression I get from some of the people I play with. 

That’s exactly what I was thinking. Having trouble with a stairwell? Throw a flash instead of just repeatedly rushing in.

I have an entirely different experience. Every now and then I’ll get an enemy team that does nothing but corner camp and snipe, and Piccadilly is absolutely no fun. But nearly every map has loads and loads of alternate routes you can take to flank the killjoys. It’s my experience that taking a second to stop and think

It’s great. I was concerned with the crossplay aspect but it’s allowed us to get a group going with one PC player, one PS4 player and the rest on Xbox so no complaints there.

I agree. I have been devouring it and enjoying almost every second because it brings back the feelings I enjoyed so much a decade ago.
