And that would matter, how?

God, that would have to suck.

A comedy about losers and failures, some of whom are middle-aged and not physically attractive? A comedy about people who live in small apartments and struggle financially? A comedy about…gulp…real human beings??

What seems to have survived of the Michelle Yeoh motorcycle jump in Police Story 3, at least according to youtube, looks completely unconvincing, and TFA isn't at all clear whether she went ahead with the jump ONTO the train.

Wait. How did they do the baby carriage scene?

You would be history's darling.

I would have loved to follow the camera around set as it was handed off to different cameramen (about eight times, iirc) during the long, single take of the shootout at the parking garage in the otherwise terrible Death Sentence.

God, that movie was limp shit.

Not always, friendo. Not always.

I was wondering if poor health was the reason. Terrific actor, in any case. "Stop that caterwauling and top off my drink!"

Yes indeed. Axl's abusiveness largely wrecked seasons four and five for me. And for the scripts to allow it, Mike often had to be pushed into the background. This was a nice, long overdue reversal that I hope takes Axl's whinging about Sue's proximity completely off the table.

A missed opportunity wrt the running gag of "the blue bag"

Glad to know I'm not the only one who thought the Staggs episode was truly a failure.

Didn't Frankie mention not wanting to ship Aunt Edie alone, as though she was just cargo (which of course Mike reminded her Edie was)?

Points to Eden Sher for her subtle puzzlement over the word choice.

All we need do is compare this episode to the episode featuring the goodbye to Aunt Ginny (3.13, "The Map") —and especially the latter's superb opening car ride***— to see how the mighty writer's room has fallen.

Are there still people who watch tv with commercials? Really?

Wait—that's not parody?

The movie is Eastwood's usual muddy thinking about something, hence the varying views and uses of it. Not worth the time it takes to watch.

That one was really developed, though. Here, smiling is used for a few sight gags and to grease one plot point.
