"I mean, it was pretty extreme that she had sex with Logan at all.
Especially within a day of breaking up with Piz. So if it was gonna
happen it was gonna happen."

They rarely did go out of their way to feature her body in the series, but more than a few shots and wardrobe shots in the film seem designed to camoflage her hips.

That's the sequel. Veronica Mars: The Misguided Veterinarian School Years.

Unfortunately, we call that "laziness".

The episodes that resort to body and sex jokes are almost always the worst. This was one of the worst. BB writers just can't handle this kind of theme any more than a room of 15 year olds can.

Beats Mad Men. That's for sure.

What a traitorous fekking c*nt.

The epic mystery version of the movie (this is a movie, they can't
really do both) would have needed storytelling too efficient to meet
that first need.

We'll have to disagree, then. By V taking up with Logan, and not showing up for the dinner with Piz's parents, she did indeed dump him.

For a movie with Robert Duvall and Morgan Freeman, not that great.

Dammit.

Hell, I am a giant movie nerd but I haven't seen Gone With The Wind and that's what, at least 20 years old?

No. Absolutely not. Loved the show, could not care less about the movie.

Big difference, though, in that Serenity added a top notch knew character, some brilliant camerawork, and a very strong overall plot.

That's not a bad thing at all, though I suppose they could try funneling the character into the FBI Academy, consistent with the summer internship she was aiming for in Season 3.

Just watched the movie after binge watching the series, of which Seasons 1 and 2 are terrific and Season 3 is merely quite good.

Yikes. I'm using Firefox and fortunately do not have the involuntary log out problem. That would make me batty. Well, battier.

Hey, far be it from me to laud our corporate overlords, but doesn't the notification system get you where you want to go?

Obama's surely not stupid. You really think it took him until 2014 to realize what the rest of us were certain of as of, oh, 2008?

If the film version of The Last of Us turns out to be as good as the film Stake Land, with which it has some similarities, I'll be impressed.
