No “Bugs?”

I barely listen to them anymore, but this list reminded me how many great songs they have. I particularly like Deep and Oceans from Ten, Dissident from VS, Tremor Christ and Immortality from Vitalogy. Damn, I could keep going for a while . . .

How do you miss Given to Fly?

You realize this is a Deadpool movie right? Toilet humor and naughty words are normal.

...you sure you saw the other 2 movies? Do you think Deadpool just discovered swearing and drugs now? Do you think this is the first time Wolverine has said the F word in a movie?

If you showed this preview to an industry person from 35 years ago and started explaining all the references, it would probably destroy them.

The forlorn stare at the post-apocalyptic wasteland of 20th Century Fox made me giggle.

I’m ecstatic “State of Love and Trust” is on here! I’ve never been a big ‘Jam fan, but I’ve always loved that song (best Pearl Jam song, easily!). Along with “It aint like that” from AIC, it encapsulated that ‘grunge’ feel the movie was going for. Almost metal, with the same aggression, but with some seriously catchy

Yeah, there was seemingly a lot of hate for “Men” but I quite liked it too. Maybe it was too weird for most people? Dunno.

I’m a huge VanderMeer fan, so I tend to go into movie versions of books I like with muted expectations. But I’m also a big Garland fan, so there was some conflict there! I LOVED this show! I’m psyched that a new season is on the way. It is just delightfully quirky... reminded me a lot of Twin Peaks.

I know a lot of people didn’t like this show, but I thought it was just fantastic.

I saw Civil War during the first IMAX showing in Kansas City, and I loved the film! I want to see it again on the big screen.

Fucking hell, Art Garfunkel’s not aged well.

I want to go in my sleep like my grandfather did. Not like the rest of the people in the bus he was driving

Getting caught in the gears of a combine...that’s the way I want to go.

Just terrible. My father died the same way

Rewatched the first movie recently and was hit by a sudden wave of nostalgia. Can’t believe it’s been over 20 years since these guys first appeared on MTV; I remember watching a lot of this show back in the day.

Letting viewers feel like they’re participating in a long-running hang-out movie, coupled with nostalgia from spending 20 years watching this same cast of idiots enjoy each others’ company, has definitely pushed this franchise far beyond what anyone could have reasonably expected. “Hi, I’m Johnny Knoxville.
