Not to mention drinks!

Note to self: it’s racist to alter food from other cultures according to my own tastes.

Maybe we need to bring folding chairs into the shower with us.

And Howard motherfucking Stern!

This movie has a special place in my heart. It’s the movie I went to see with my brother and my late father back when it came out. We were driving to a KC Royals game to go watch Quisinberry pitch. We couldn’t get a hotel room the night before in KC so we back tracked north to a small town. With nothing to what to do

blessed is GenX, for we lived the full idiocy of our youth with no video evidence to haunt us...

The new design of this site is a disaster. I can’t do it anymore.

Watching and understanding are two very, very different things for some of the bloggers around here.

No doubt. Recognitions is the funniest person on these boards to me. It’s like watching a  black light Velvet Elvis painting as a film. It’s so bad and wrong in every way that it’s insanely funny.

So is being a pearl-clutching killjoy.

Starred for “banana hued bukkake”.

Ketchup. It tastes infantile. In the same breath, I’d also say “ridiculously hot sauces” - yes, very good, you’re a billion Scovilles but is there actually any fucking point to a sauce that spicy?

It’s a shame the NES Zeldas didn’t get the remake treatment that the original Metroid did.

I agree, and I’d like to throw in Faxanadu with that. I love platformers and RPGs, and I think some of those early attempts would do great with a bit of polish. The jump and movement physics of both could use some refinement. The limited text didn’t do them favors either. I still play them every so often cause I love

I think every Zelda fan should at least play through Zelda 2. Use a guide. Use save states and cheat your way through. It’s worth playing through one time to appreciate what they were trying to pull off with the game. It’s better than most people give it credit for.

Should we throw Simon’s Quest in this too?  Though its still my favorite Castlevania and the one I beat most often as a kid.  I had the Nintendo Power though...

While not a particularly special game to me, I have been saying for years how Zelda II is the perfect candidate for a remake. While it’s remembered as the black sheep of the (official) Zelda franchise, it has a lot of cool ideas going on, and I can’t help but think that if it had been made for the SNES, it could have

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link.
