I really liked the book and the movie, flaws and all. Probably because I’m a 90s kid and a huge music nerd so even though the main protagonist was a guy I totally related to the list making and obsessing. But I think it worked in a specific era/generation, and doesn’t make sense now.

He has to go contact all of his exes who, for some reason, seem chill not only seeing him but telling him how they feel? Every woman he contacted magically did that?

Is Jojo Rabbit really a “Holocaust movie” though? Seems like a broad description that doesn’t actually fit the story. Is Inglourious Basterds a Holocaust movie by the same token?

JoJo Rabbit is the only movie this year where Hitler gets thrown out of a window, ergo it is the best movie of the year.

If you think this one is bad, you should read their even worse and nonsensical ones for all the other contenders. These are probably the worse series of articles and criticism ever seen on this site.

Better yet, check out their first EP. I've slowly fallen off TI because what I enjoyed about them was their guitar sound. I have nothing against them growing as musicians but I miss the guitars.

Have you listened to his first 2 albums or just Currents?  Innerspeaker and Lonerism are much better than Currents, imho.
