One of these things was significantly better than the others.

To me, Gibbons has a less spotty record for putting out great work than Moore. Hell, even the one he did with Mark Millar was alright.

Comic artists (like Mazz) who just put out work every blue moon where you have to find suitable analogues for them might be for specific in visual arts. I picked up a couple issues of that Wolverine running a high school comic just because the art sort of reminded me of Arthur Adams.

Mazzucchelli tributes are way better than the Jim Lee tributes I still see crowding the stands. Being better than work that just looks boring and offensive isn't too much of a win. "Hawkeye: Not Too Offensive" for tag line? I'll dig into Criminal. I've had a few people try to get me to check it out.

I've been pretty obsessed with Stone Quackers since it has come out, but couldn't finish either episode of Golan I tried to watch. Golan just seems a little more of the same semi Adult Swim cartooning that has been around for years.

I picked up a couple of issues of Criminal way back when. They weren't too rough. That Hawkeye, man. It just comes off a little like a mid period Mazzuchelli tribute book to me.

I've never thought of Jacen Burrows as Moebius inspired. Moebius by way of someone like S. Clay Wilson maybe?

Come to think of it, I don't think that I have read anything in somewhere around 5 years that the writer and the artist are not the same person. Those Tamaki books and Prophet being the exceptions.

Then, retracting it before you can slap it.

Putting up my hand for a high five.

Wait, people read superhero comics for the writing? Hahahahahahaha…whew…hahahahahahah.

How can anyone hate Glen?

I demand a solo Billy Dee Williams spinoff.
