Of course, people, including the vast majority of the enthusiast market, aren’t buying this car because they’re idiots.

Exactly, and the now defunct Scion brand has even managed to sell almost as many tCs in the first 5 months of this year as the BRZ/FRS models managed to sell combined. The Golf-R variant alone even outsold the BRZ.
We had to do that in the Army, so why don’t you try it? If you live through it, come back and provide us with your thoughts on the matter then.
You don’t get it, it isn’t just one. That one single example is all that I bothered to look for, and if I cared to and had the time, I’m quite certain I could provide over a hundred examples of “last year but never sold” models just like that one, and many times that of cars that have sat on dealer lots for 60+ days.
Oh? Well ok, if you want to go that route, then explain this. How in the world could a Corvette, which has almost double the MSRP, sell at roughly 2 & 1/4 times the volume?
Going by that logic, then the F150 would have almost never held the title as “best selling pickup, since the GMC Sierra and Chevy Silverado (both essentially the exact same truck) have continuously outsold the F150 when their numbers were combined.
I have a turbocharged vehicle, I’ve owned many, and I love them dearly. That being said however, they do deserve the reputation.
Yes....and because you don’t, then no one else ever does either, right?
Almost all cars do now, even little base model Civics, so that’s really nothing special and has everything to do with transmission gearing. It would be far more impressive to say that it could scale a hill at a 30 degree incline without dropping speed, or to a lower gear, or increasing RPMs.
You are positively delusional, all cars on lots eventually get sold, even if at a much reduced price, and the FRS/BRZ’s time on lots is absolutely atrocious.
Yeah....a fee, huh?
Uh, yeah...they pretty much did have to.
Yeah, that likely came from simple bodily reaction in an attempt to fight the G forces you were subjected to. It’s just human nature to react suddenly and objectionably to such force, and do so without conscious thought.
That depends, none of you are factoring deflection from rotational speed.
No, you are mistaken. The transport of electricity from the plant to your house, and then to your EV is similar to the transport of gasoline from the pump to your fuel tank.
Even if it is, that still doesn’t answer the serious questions. Where will the energy come from? How many more plants will have to be built? How much will this drastic increase in usage increase the cost of electricity? How badly will higher electricity prices hurt everyone? How long would it take for those costs to…
That isn’t what ol’ Elon has been preaching....
