It’ll be really interesting (academically speaking) to see what happens as unemployment assistance and eviction moratoriums run out.
California just tries to re-internalize some of those costs we’ve come to accept as external costs borne by society/the future generations.
And you know what? If we claim to be capitalistic, I’m okay with that. You cannot socialize costs yet privatize profits. It’s a game that will destroy itself.
seriously $200 is cheap for a decent bike
The issue is that Trump’s SAFE emissions mandate for 2021 MY vehicles rules removed California’s ZEV mandates and rolled back targets from 39mpg to 33mpg. Tesla will mostly be selling regulatory credits for only the Europe market afterwards. Not the most impartial source, but here’s an article on it: https://www.washin…
So, I want to clarify that making vehicles and batteries alone didn’t push them into the black. Fanboy less and look at raw data.
So wait, the goal here is to redistrict based on using “eligible voters” as a proxy for total population? And then use licensed drivers as a proxy for eligible voters? That’s pretty messed up if they some how manage to get away with that, even on a state level, since it will disenfranchise (no surprise) people of…
May go back to Tom’s usual stance that the internet has pretty much set used car prices on the macro scale. Supply isn’t low enough on what’s selling that they can increase prices without falling to the bottom of everyone’s search.
More likely that they need cash flow because they have bills to pay today and have to assume that tomorrow will take care of itself.

Yep, tell that to the people in NYC that were hit while walking on the sidewalk. But don’t miss the whole point of the article that focuses on the fact that people think it’s ok to hit people with their car.
You hit the nail on the head! It’s been a commonly used method by 4chan, to harass people for quite some time now. And like Facebook, Tumblr and everywhere else, Twitter has yet to adopt any sort of practice to prevent it.
Hey Hodorable, Your reply reminded me of the long fight for equal school funding across jurisdictions. Of course there is no good reason to allow kids in less rich areas to have a shit education (there’s been NO heat in the Baltimore schools for like a couple of years. Really — don’t know if it’s been fixed yet — just…
Basically the detailed ledger is still there, but adding a checksum that requires the prior ledgers checksum just means its easy to verify that the ledger hasnt been edited after the fact. Thats the simplest i can ever explain blockchain, I think its accurate.
Something, something, then exclaimed he was actually there to buy a Corvette, to absolutely prove within a shadow of a doubt that he didn’t have a... wait.
That’s... oddly... heart warming? I mean the guy realised he had a problem and, presumably, got the help he needed. Good for him.
If you need one, yes.
