Bingo. Businesses can say “no shoes, no shirt, no service”. After seeing that for decades, I have yet to hear anyone complain about their constitutional right to not wear a shirt being violated.

Even if that math is correct (not accounting for day/over/day infections or exponential growth when unrestrained), 350 deaths per day equate to 10 ICU units per day of deaths - where most of these people will die.
The problem is that if we get too many infections, to where hospitals are overwhelmed, the death rate will greatly increase.
i have heard our readers described as 1000 things over the last 14 years, but never “extremely worried about butt safe toys” before.
The Last of Us 2 should be a post-apocalyptic Pony Express meets Oregon Trail adventure game. You and your trusty steed navigate ruined infrastructure while dodging the occasional fungus zombie, combat being optional in this fantasy of mine, all to deliver some small innocuous package from one bombed-out part of the…
I don't know why anyone uses Facebook for advertising. They inflate users but making it impossible to quit. I apparently have 5 Facebook accounts last time i looked and it's been so long since i was on it i don't remember any of my logins.
My work has a manufacturing plant in a state that has a high resurgence in infections, and just recently had to shut down a couple shifts because of the workers being infected. Rumors are that many of these guys, conservative Trump lovers, refused to wear masks. If a few more shifts are hit, the entire plant needs to…
Because I live in a bowl and the owners of these old trucks spew black soot and crap into the air and use the fact they don’t have to do emissions to run modifications that make air quality worse. I am a car enthusiast and run a JDM motor but I run a catted downpipe. Not because I couldn’t get away with it but because…
our nation is being run by the sunk cost fallacy.
e-bikes are really the transportation of the future. Some of those things have a 70 mile range and charge in a couple of hours.
Where there is good public transportation it is not avoided.
You can’t have increased traffic if you don’t have public transit in the first place
People don’t buy a 75k luxury SUV to not drive it, even if that ‘driving’ is just sitting in gridlock. They were already scared of public transit before the shutdown, and things haven’t gotten any prettier.
WFH is awesome for many jobs, yet, it will eventually turn the extroverts among us into raving unshowered lunatics who get overly excited when the FedEx guy shows up. with a new phone charger.
I never liked Quantic Dream’s games because they seemed way too pretentious, virtually raising their noses in disgust to any game that isn’t a glorified QTE. I now have another reason to not pick their games up.
There’s also the scene where a white-skinned android lectures a black-skinned android about civil rights. Whoof.
probably because Dumas didn’t shy away from his heritage, despite historians attempts over the centuries to downplay his black heritage.
Neutral: One case is a major outbreak. That’s why all ~2000 of us are working from home for the remainder of the year. Since we do design/engineering and not manufacturing, there just isn’t any reason to risk it and return to the office.
Oh I know it’s still out there. But I live in a red state that thinks it’s gone so they are trying to party it up again.
We are still in the first wave. Numbers dropped because the 3 main hit spots got it under control. Otherwise numbers have still been trending upwards.
