It’s not brainwashing, it’s gut-level cowardice. By tying the pandemic to their political beliefs, now if they admit the pandemic is wrong, they have to acknowledge at least some of their political beliefs might be wrong. In the worst case they might have to own up to their carelessness getting a friend or family

This is why I just crank everything to low, kick back, and play the game.

Dropping in price that fast is a pretty strong indication it was not kept up. That it was owned by and used by a subculture of entitled dipshits tells me maintenance was shoddy at best.

So when I first returned to the company gym after years away due to the pandemic there was a smell I can only describe as the smell of broccoli with unwashed feet.

The rewards for ranking up are mostly cosmetic, you can get more gold and credits boosting your collection level, and you get busted back three ranks every month anyway. So who cares?

Yes great but what if you absolutely hate the mechanic and how it caters to Poker Guys who think they’ve mastered the magic arts of probability?

So funny story I was playing a game today and like a total fuckwit I miscounted the turns and skipped the last one with four points in the center lane with zero on his lane. My opponent was pretty good so I figured I’d biffed it.

Yes, I know, I play a deck that uses various move cards. Like I said, it’s not a bulletproof strategy. No strategy in this game is, it’s designed well that way. But it can definitely put the pressure on.

I have him in my destroy deck and he's highly useful against Devil Dinosaur and buff decks. When I get Red Skull I'm going to see if I can pair them to wipe out a lane.

TBH neither is remotely surprising. Shang Chi is both a flashy and useful card but he’s rarely going to make a game by himself.

You don’t have to have any counters. Stack the middle, make sure the right lane is above 8 points, and ignore the left lanes or fill it with utility cards like Quinjet and Patriot. That’ll put the squeeze on since the ultimate endgame is playing Heimdall and moving all the cards to the left.

To be fair to Ubi, stupid business models built on unrealistic expectations are the norm and anybody who tries to temper those expectations is burned in a wicker calculator for heresy. Nothing Ubi’s said or done is particularly outre or delusional compared to either their competitors or the broader tech or finance

“Hello, my employees, I have enormously mismanaged the company you work for, completely mishandled a very severe sexual harassment scandal, cut money out of my marketing budgets, and wasted an enormous amount of times trying to sell my problems to another sucker when not even the most naive slob could be fooled by my

Considering new cars are hitting payments of $1,000 a month, expect a lot more of this. Especially since saying things like “You could just not buy a new car every year” or “You could just keep the nice car you already have” make Boomers hiss and spit like pit vipers.

I bet this’ll do just as well as the iSmell.

Going to guess it’s private scientific data collection. Would be nice to see all the equipment in one place.

Look up the EU agriculture industry. The US’s problems are different but they aren’t unique.

Part of it is because we’re fifty states with a federal government, and that creates a double taxation problem that’s difficult to resolve. The other part of it is our private tax prep industry keeps lobbying to prevent automating the system.

Yes, I know how the card works, I’ve played it often enough. But there are three pretty important points that this whole debate is ignoring:

Time to fire the Chumpy at your law firm, Microsoft.
